A year of projects - week 3

Its YoP sunday update!!  I've finished my 2nd project :-)  Love the YoP as I've been motivated all week to try and get this finished for today - its been off my needles half an hour now, soaked and is now blocking on my bed.  Hopefully it will be dry before bed!

Fresh off the needles

Introducing my 2nd Summer Mystery Shawlette.  Knitted using Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply in cherry colourway.

Now to decide which project to move on to next.  Something for Josie I think.

  9. That's a beautiful shawl and I love the color. The light weight of it seems very nice for a cool summer evening.

  10. I love this shawl pattern, and your choice of colours here is just fantastic, so rich and elegant, and it looks like the blocking is really working its magic. I hope it dried in plenty of time for you to get a good night's sleep, too! ;)

  18. Stunning colour and I love the lace. To dry things a bit quicker, I've been known to block onto a blanket (or a quilt with a white flannel backing) and then put that under the picnic table in my back yard. This let's the air flow over it better, without the sun getting at it to fade that lovely red.
